These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of carecostindex.com and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by CareCostIndex (“we”, “us”, or “our”). CareCostIndex publishes aggregate healthcare cost information for informational purposes only. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for the advice of a licensed medical professional. Cost ranges shown on the Service are estimates compiled from public and third-party data and are not price quotes, offers, or guarantees. Your actual costs will depend on your insurance coverage, provider, location, and the specifics of your care. 3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Service except as permitted by our robots.txt;
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service;
Interfere with the Service’s security, integrity, or availability (including denial-of-service attempts);
Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or fraudulent content;
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity; or
Use the Service in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.

4. Intellectual property

The Service and its original content (text, layout, design, graphics, logos, and compiled data) are the property of CareCostIndex or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Underlying public datasets (for example, CMS or state price transparency feeds) remain the property of their respective publishers and are used in accordance with their terms.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED USD 100.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CareCostIndex and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
